Production

KASB PETROLEUM FZCO produced 96.645 million tons of crude oil (1.953 million barrels per day), of which 64.147 million tonnes were produced by company subsidiaries. This amount includes the production share of equity affiliates..

Crude production level

The Company’s average daily crude production level rose by 3.4% compared to previouse year. The Company had lot of work prepare and launch production at fields in United Arab Emirates as part of its strategy of accelerated production growth. Special emphasis was placed on fields in Dubia oil field.

Efficiency

KASB PETROLEUM FZCO's program aims to optimize oil development and production by reducing operational expenses and improving field efficiency. KASB PETROLEUM FZCO's production firms optimized well productivity and oil recovery rates to meet production targets. The development costs totaled $76,660 million.

A total of 213 new production wells were commissioned, 159 of which were horizontal. The average daily flow for new wells was 47.8 tonnes, with 75.5 tonnes from horizontal wells. Total production from new wells (group share) was 7.47 million tonnes. Horizontal well drilling is highly efficient, and the company wants to increase its number in the medium term. We establish KASB PETROLEUM FZCO's strategy to enhance its long-term resilience and value for stakeholders such as society, employees, and shareholders. We consider product processing to be one of our most cost-effective activities.

Processing

At our refineries at the same time operate several parallel lines of processing of raw materials, and finished products are sold in two main areas:

  • Sale of the final product of refining from our own raw materials to our customers outside the United Arab Emirates.
  • Sale of refined products to our partners in the United Arab Emirates, produced from the raw materials they extracted.
