KASB PETROLEUM FZCO

We are one of the leading, independent and vertically integrated oil company in United Arab Emirates.

Petrochemicals

The majority of petrochemical products are produced by synthetic rubber and other chemical facilities located in Dubia City. One of the petrochemical companies in Kazakhstan manufactures 320 Mt of ethylene, 180 Mt of propylene, and 90 Mt of benzene annually. The primary products derived from the ethylene generated at the plant include styrene, polystyrene, and high-density polyethylene. The Dubia Chemical Industry Park utilizes straight-run gasoline and hydrocarbon gas, which are generally provided by Socar Petrochemical Company, as raw materials.

The modernization program for the plant encompasses the reconstruction of the pyrolysis unit, aimed at enhancing its capacity by 2 times, equivalent to an additional 370 Mt of ethylene annually; the construction of United Arab Emirates largest low-density polyethylene production facility, which will have a capacity of 295 Mt per year; the establishment of the country’s second-largest polypropylene production facility, with an annual output of 190 Mt of a diverse range of branded polymers; and the construction of a railway overpass designed for the drainage and loading of liquefied hydrocarbon gases, boasting an annual capacity of 400 Mt, which is expected to lower the cost of raw materials.

The products offered by KASB PETROLEUM FZCO encompass propylene, polyethylene, butylene-butadiene cut, propylene oxide, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, pyrolysis condensate, liquid chlorine, and alkali. "KASB PETROLEUM FZCO" has manufactured 63,800 tons of polyethylene, 34,000 tons of propylene, 31,000 tons of butylene-butadiene cut, 61,000 tons of pyrolysis condensate, 13,000 tons of isopropyl alcohol, 4,400 tons of propylene oxide, 8,900 tons of alkali, and 3,900 tons of liquid

The Dubia Chemical Industry Park features a plant for ethylene and polyethylene production, a facility for surfactants, an organic synthesis plant, a machinery maintenance workshop, a chemical engineering institute, a division for repair and construction, a transportation and special equipment division, and a storage facility for chlorine.
